Horse Hair Pottery

This fascinating process is known as raku and involves firing the pottery pieces quickly to approximately 800°C, taking them from the kiln whilst hot and decorated using horse hair.

Participants will be able to chose a number of bisque fired pieces from the selection available. Finished pieces can be taken home on the day.

***For safety reasons, this workshop is limited to 4 participants.***

The workshop will take place at my studio in Caersws, Powys. (The full address and directions will be given after booking)

Terms & Conditions

The cost of the workshop is £35 per person and runs for approximately 2.5 hours, with a break in the middle (refreshments are provided). 

The price includes all 3 bisque-fired pieces, tools & equipment, instruction & refreshments. 

Payment is required at the time of booking. A full refund is available up to two weeks before the date of the workshop. After this time, I regret that I am unable to reimburse you, although every effort will be put into finding another alternative date to suit.

If for any reason I need to cancel the workshop, then a full refund will be provided.
