  • Come along and make a variety of items, all with a heart theme. This workshop is ideal for making pottery suitable for gifting to a loved one on St Dwynwen's Day (25th Jan) or for St. Valentine's Day (14th Feb)

Description 

During this fun and relaxing 2 hour workshop you will create your own heart inspired pieces using stoneware clay. 

Easy step by step instructions will enable all participants successfully create a variety of pieces.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of ability and is open to everyone from the age of 12 years.

You can choose whether to return at a future date to glaze your own pieces or to choose a glaze from a selection of test tiles for me to glaze it (a small fee is charged to cover mmy time).

 

 Location

The workshop will take place at my studio in Caersws, Powys. (The full address and directions will be given after booking) 

 

 When 


9th December 2022, 7.00 - 9.00pm 

 

 What to bring 

  • Please wear covered shoes to comply with health & safety.
  • An apron – hand-building is not particularly messy but your clothes may get a little dusty

 

 Terms & Conditions

The cost of the workshop is £30 per person and runs for approximately 2 hours, with a short break in the middle (light refreshments provided). 

The price includes all clay, glazes, kiln firings, use of tools & equipment and light refreshments. 

Payment is required at the time of booking. 

A full refund is available up to two weeks before the date of the workshop. After this time, I regret that I am unable to reimburse you, although every effort will be put into finding another alternative date to suit.

If for any reason I need to cancel the workshop, then a full refund will be provided.

If you opt to return and glaze your own piece, you will be notified once it has been bisque fired and a date for glazing will be arranged.

Once pieces have been glaze fired, you will be notified and your piece can be collected (Pieces will be kept for one month after notification). If you are unable to collect, posting your work to you can be arranged at cost.
